Heck, the ROOF of my current rover vehicle is at 10 feet:-)
The antennas run at around 13 feet, 3 inches. On most
roads well-travelled by commercial
trucks, their 14 foot height generally keeps the tree
branches "trimmed" enough to permit
my antennas to clear with no problem.
Any well-engineered hitch receiver mount should have no
trouble dealing with a couple loops and a few yagis,
especially if the receiver is Class-3 or better, guying
would only be a consideration if the mast itself bends and
sways more than your liking under windload.
