I am about to upgrade the hard drive on my shack computer. Since
I only use this machine for ham radio applications, I initially built
this Pentium 166MMX with a small (350MB) hard drive. It is
adequate for Win 95, DX4Win and NA - really.
Since I am converting to WriteLog, this feature to record the
contest on the hard drive sounds interesting. I already have several
used HD's in the 1.2 to 2.5 MB range. Will I need something
bigger? Assuming I operate as much of 40 hours of a CW contest,
how much space is used by the audio files at 0000z Sunday
evening (assuming I want adequate quality in the recording).
