I'm not sure what you mean by DXPware software. It's very confusing
that there is XPWIN and DXPWIN software from different authors! You
probably meant DXPWIN. Anyway, different software is written at the
discretion of the author, and different TNCs are set up differently. If
I use Writelog and XPWIN (note: NOT DXPWIN - XPWIN), one is reversed
from the other - You just change the menu item in the 1000MP, as you
described. The only time I use DXPWIN is when I need to upload new
firmware, so I can't remember which way it diddles when the MP is in
NORMAL polarity. You're doing it right - Just makes you know which is
the correct sound - It hits you in the face after awhile when it's
wrong. THe MP's MONITOR function is nice in this regard - You shouldn't
end up "accidentally inverted" since you can hear your tones.

With a PK-232, you have to use the FSKR ("reverse") output for FSK RTTY
to be rightside up with the MP menu item set to NORMAL. The PK-232
manual has a blurb about "no standards" regarding this!

P.S. I don't see what this has to do with "Slash Zero" in the
SUBJECT.... ;-) Happy Holidays!
