I fully respect your (and others) points of view, but it would be nice to
have the choice
to select cut figures in WL.

As far as I am concerned you can do away with "cut" figures. Unless you are
always a real 599 the guy on the other end won't fall asleep waiting for the
number he will appreciate the standard format and you will have less
retries.
