I do not set mine up to show the control buttons. Since I run
FSK on my transmit, I don't need NET and I rarely, if ever, use
the AFC function. None of the buttons on the control panel
are necessary for me during a contest. Others may think differently
and may want them.
If you choose not to have the control buttons showing, you can
access everything via the Option menu on the RTTY Control panel
for MMTTY.
For those that are new to the MMTTY plug-in, you can get rid of
the control buttons on the RTTY Control panel by going to the
TU type pull-down menu in the Rttyrite window and choosing
TNC Setup. Another window will pop up where you can option
to do have the pulldown menus, control buttons and/or have the
RTTY Control panel always on top.
The changes take place the next time you start the MMTTY Rttyrite
option. You don't have to restart WriteLog. Just close the Rttyrite
window, go back to the main WriteLog window and restart Rttyrite
by choosing RTTY window in the Window pull down menu.
