Great idea for those that are COM port challenged, Also may be a work
around for the problem of Keyboard CW for DX4WIN which does DTR CW keying
(and LPT keying) on the RADIO port but not on any other COM port.

Don't forget though that Rotor Control and Packet are not limited to the
same four choices of COM ports that rig control is limited to.

Just to give my own station setup SO2R+

COM1: RIG 1 (Kenwood TS950SDX) +W5XD Multikeyer (another solution to cw
keying ..but expensive unless you build the kit 8^)
COM2: RIG 2 (Kenwood TS870)
COM3: RIG 3 (Kenwood TS790A)
COM4: OPEN (future home of the rotor control, but could also be used to
generate CW)
COM5: RTTY-FSK Modem RIG 1
COM6: RTTY-FSK Modem RIG 2
COM7: MMTTY LOOP BACK DX4WIN RTTY
COM8: MMTTY LOOP BACK DX4WIN RTTY
COM9: PALM PILOT SYNC
COM10: RF PACKET interface PK-232 MODEM

Sound Board #1: Sound Blaster SB-16 ( ISA slot)
Sound Board #2: Sound Blaster PCI-128 (PCI slot)

MATROX G450 Dual Head (two monitor) AGP video

LPT1 Printer
USB 1: Wireless Mouse
USB 2: Smart Card Reader
NIC card to server (and cable modem)

And I still have an open PCI slot for another multiport serial card !!!!!!!!

Hope this gives everyone some additional ideas on how to skin this cat
