Hmm, don't think so. One can have all sorts of options, but there is a limit
of course. I used to use that feature in TR, but was always doubling with
people by hitting one too many character from the keyboard before they had
finished calling. Far superior i.m.o. is the existing facility in WL where
one just hits the <enter> key when necessary and then complete the rest of
the callsign. So if you call me at about 40wpm (!) and you have finished
calling by the time I get to "ua3" on the keyboard, I just send
UA3<ENTER>DPX, and you will never know that I am slow on the keyboard! This
is the most simple and elegant solution i.m.o. If you don't know how to do
this, I would be happy to explain.

Because it won't work under Windows! Windows simply does not have a
sufficiently accurate interrupt timer, to execute sending from a paddle via
a parallel port. In any case parallel ports will not be available to us
after we are forced by Gates ( eventually) to use Win2000 or XP, sad but
true ( yeah yeah I know there is a fix, but let's go with the flow). The
best solution for paddle sending is to use the W5XD keyer, which has its own
timing in hardware, independent of the computer, and can be operated from a
serial port shared with radio control. In that case the paddle speed is
synchronised to the computer just like with TR. This is admittedly an
expensive solution, but nit picking CW operators like me, will require such
. I'll never get rich that way for sure, but perhaps I'll be a happier
bunny!

Like I say, email me if you need any help with all of this.
