Bob, please tell us in exquisite detail exactly how a RigBlaster (Pro or
plain) sends FSK without using the TxD line. The Rigblaster doesn't have a
5-bit Baudot code generator in it! That information comes from WriteLog via
the TxD line of the serial port. The Rigblaster Pro -allows- you to use FSK
by passing the SHIFT signals through the box to your rig - It doesn't
generate them.

Note the pin assignments on the Pro from the Westmountainradio website:
RS232 Pin Assignments Serial B (DB9 PC signal set)
a.. Pin 2 Receive Data (Rig control option or pass)
b.. Pin 3 Transmit Data (Rig control option or pass FSK option)
c.. Pin 5 Signal Ground (isolated digital common)
Notice that Pin 3 (TxD) says "pass FSK" - Nice box to "pass" the FSK signal
from WriteLog to your rig.

Yes, you can use RTS or DTR to "key" a rig (PTT), but not for WriteLog to
send FSK.

Geez, I need a blood pressure pill. 73 - John, WA9ALS
