[WriteLog] Windows XP - WriteLog, No Show Mults window

Can anyone suggest why I am unable to see the Show Multipliers window?
I am runnin Windows XP (Home ed.) and WL10.53e

I don't see the Mults window for any contest.
I am poking the Show Mults menue item and get an indication in the window task 
bar that there is a Multiplier Task running, but it does not display.

I suspect I have a set up problem with XP.

Anyone offer me some clues/solutions?
