All,
Just turned on the first radios at the new qth. Still wiring everything.
But have IC756 Pro II and Writelog running. With an old emergency dipole
strung across the basement (piers still being poured for towers), I am
getting some strong interference across 20 meters.
The signals seem to be a two tones (two peaks show up in mmtty waterfall)
about 15 to 20 hertz spread with a worble to them some what like psk31.
There is one on 14092 and they appear up and down the band every 61.07 Khz!.
Has some thing happened in the few months I have been off the air? Some
intruder? Is there some BPL started up in Northern Virginia? Or did I just
build a new house in a noisy location - only about 500 feet from old one hi.
I am in the process of turning off all the power circuits in the house but
definitely seems to be coming in antenna.
