I just saw something strange when testing the Writelog network for a
multi-op this weekend.

We have 4 computers on the network and three are XP and one is W98.

Of the four radios, one is a Pro III and three are FT1000MP MkVs.

We have the "networked Frequencies" window open.

When we tune one of the radios and stop tuning, the networked
frequencies readout at all four stations shows where the radio is now
but intermittently jumps back and forth to a previously read
frequency. This happens a lot after re-tuning the radio to a new
frequency but gradually, over time, stabilizes to only showing the
current frequency. We can make this happen by tuning any radio in the
network on any computer. If we run around and tune them all quickly
we can watch the networked frequencies window dance around until
things finally settle down.

It looks like each radio is sending previously read frequencies
around the network and that readout data doesn't stop circling the
network until it gradually settles down and disappears. Very strange.

I am running TCP/IP network connections, Writelog 10.55D, and the
computers are connected by a star configuration where one computer is
the center and all others connect to it.

What is going on here? Has anyone else seen this.
