Good Day All .. Hope you are enjoying the Contest,

Need some advice.

I am considering purchasing an Icom 746PRO and would appreciate your input 
and comments, especially from those of you who using or have experience with 
the 746PRO.

My primary operating modes / contesting is in CW, PSK & RTTY.  I have used 
an ICOM 761 for the past 18 years and love it.  But with the newer 
technology available, plus I think the receive on the 761 is getting old 
like me, I want to add another rig.  I know the 756 III is a great choice, 
but at twice the price of the 746 and I doubt I would use all of its 
capability.  I do not operate SO2R so the fact 746PRO doesn?t? have 2 radios 
would not be a problem.

I?ve enjoyed using WriteLog with my 761 and would also appreciate your input 
on the combination of WriteLog w/ MMTTY plug in with the 746PRO.
