Clive,
Maybe it's a lame question, but have you had Direct I/O on your system for a
while, and has it timed out? When I first downloaded it, it worked fine, and
I forgot about the time limit. Just before a contest, I discovered I had no
LPT port. I realized what had happened, and posted the fee over the
Internet. Once I put in the confirmation code, all was well, again.
