Thanks to all who so promptly replied. FYI, I do have PTT checked next to
FSK in the MKII Router. Once again, Joe had the solution.

I unchecked Software Generated FSK TXD in the Rittyrite Ports menu, but the
Misc tab Tx Port box still had the other choices grayed out and there was no
USB Port button displayed. I saved the configuration, shut down WL and then
restarted it. After the restart the grayed out choices changed to black and
were available. I selected the COM-TxD(FSK) radio button and the USB Port
button suddenly appeared. I clicked on that and selected Option C: Limiting
speed. All now seems to be ok. I hit Alt+K in WL and when the keyboard
window opened my IC756PRO immediately went into transmit and I could hear
the diddles.

Now that the connections seem to be properly configured it's back to the
tutorials about setting up my macro messages and figuring out how WL and the
MMTTY Plug in work together. Hope to print many of you during the contest
this weekend.

And, as always, a big THANK YOU to Joe for his always accurate and
understandable analysis of whatever those of us in the great unwashed manage
to get screwed up!

73,
Gary AL9A
