We are trying to use WriteLog's software lockout in a multi-single effort in SS
CW this weekend. We set up 3 computers with WL using parallel port keying. We
networked the computers and linked two of the computers to the third. When we
select RTTY Single TX Lockout - First One Wins we get a green rectangle around
"Radio" on radios B and C, but not on radio A. When radio A transmits it turns
the rectangles on the other two radios red and they are prevented from
transmitting. If they are already transmitting then the transmission is
aborted.
When radio B and C transmit they do not block each other or radio A and the
rectangles remain green.
Switching to Last One Wins on all the computers does not change the behavior at
all.
Has anyone successfully used WL's lockout feature on CW? The observed "Radio A
Wins" behavior does not prevent simultaneous transmission by Radios B and C and
is not the same as either First or Last One Wins.
