Hi Guys

I'd like to be able to send CAT commands to my TRX using mouse controlled
buttons of some kind, I do this in my day-to-day logging/digital mode
software (logger32) for things like contour filter selections, IPO settings,
attenuator settings et cetera; all things that either need a menu change or
a number of user control changes. I can achieve pre-determined settings with
a single mouse click using combinations of CAT commands.

Is there a way I can set up the same or equivalent concept in WriteLog? I
have searched and found this:

<http://lists.contesting.com/archives/html/WriteLog/2010-03/msg00044.html>

but it's not really the same thing.

During a RTTY contest I would like, for example, to click a button and set
my contour filter Q (width) to 1, the contour centre frequency to 2200Hz and
the gain of the filter to +10dB, and perhaps turn on a narrow notch at
2200Hz also. - I can do all this with four CAT commands to my radio, the
alternative way is to enter the menu system and press multiple buttons. I
would like to be able to do this (as I do with logger32) "on the fly"

For info I run a FT-5K for RTTY contests.

Any ideas guys, and thanks for any pointers!
