[WriteLog] missing PORTS data in V12

V12 works fine and looks good but I'm having a problem with keeping the
setup parameters. If I open V12, the PORTS data is wiped clean. I can set
it up for the K3 and Winkey, then everything works fine. But next time I
run WL, that data is lost again.

I've tried Save Configuration. I've tried importing the INI file on the
start screen. Nothing seems to solve this problem. Window location and
docking ARE saved correctly.

other ideas?
