I know nothing about Flex and your best bet is if somebody with one has
done what you are attempting.
If the Flex creates a separate comport for each slice.
I would think you can set WL for 2 Radios
Then in ports assign the appropriate comport and speed to each "radio"
(slice)

I tried this morning to in the SO2R Menu Item in the Ports Section to add
my Slice B. For some reason it will allow me to use the Flexadio Option for
Slice A, but not for Slice B. And I somewhat surmise that there are not
that many people who use a Flexradio 8000 series with Writelog. Or, has
really gotten it to work without any problems.
Nobody has given me any advice on how to set up the ports so that I get the
frequencies that are on my radio screen Because the frequencies that are on
the computer screen for Slice B is not communicating properly with the
Writelog Program. I realize that Slice B is nothing more than a Second VFO
but I shouldn't have to set both my slices to emulate a Kenwood TS-2000
with the proper Com Ports to get it to work. I have shared these
frustrations with Writelog Customer Support and hopefully they can either
set me straight on this. Or, choosing to operate with Writelog was perhaps
not a good idea.
