is No fault found with why average is not zero. This is the part I was responding to: I guess you meant instantaneous VOLTAGE rather than power? Otherwise you would be finding the RMS value of power.

Vrms is the (square)Root of the Mean of the Squares (of the Voltage samples). When you work out Vrms^2 in order to work out the power, you are squaring the squareroot, so the r in rms disappears and

If you keep the modulation depth constant (as verified with a scope), does the kit perform more poorly as you increase the frequency of modulation? Slightly; like 1 or 2 percent, but not nearly the 2
