Running in the CW position just to be on the safe side ( after all this amp is nearly 40 years old) Going easy on the power transformer. I can only get about 100 more watts in SSB position Dave NR1DX

In the end the biggest problem was grounds. As I said earlier this unit had not been stored in the best environment and apparently it took it's toll 1) Ran a separate ground strap between the two out
