Ken, You are on the right track. Then that is what it should be. It is quite possible to have that value in a Pi-L. Then they allowed for the stray C in their design, which is what we should expect.

I have a newer Agilent FFT spectrum analyzer, and it is certainly correct on it. Mine has the optional fast ADC (option 101) high bandwidth FFT and the FFT function only works to 10MHz. The FFT is p

Voltage breakdown. That's almost always the weakest spot. Why? The best place for the wiper contact is loading cap in any network. No, but the extra tank components that are shorted do. 73 Tom _____

Actually that relay speed up circuit has nothing to do with the Svetlana mod. The Svetlana mod in the standard FL2100 (not the later 2100Z) converts a NOMINAL 15 volt dc supply to around 30 volts by

Hal, Unfortunately a zero crosser does not do anything for inrush. It is good for the switch, but that's all. To limit inrush you have to add series resistance so current is limited over some time p

If your supply fully and smoothly charges in one quarter cycle and only draws 20 amps while doing it that is a miracle Jeff. You either have a supply with horrible ESR or you are missing something.

I doubt that. By ground loops I meant ground loops on the SWR detector board causing the reading to vary with frequency. External loops that affect the meters unequally with power would never occur.
