Just a thought, but maybe next time you could reverse the dates (CW first weekend, SSB second weekend) so that the contest didn't clash with the VK/ZL/Oceania SSB (4-5 Oct) and CW (11-12 Oct) contest

I agree with Tim. Responding to "?" rarely pays off with a QSO. I figure my CQ's are short and I'm sending at 30wpm or higher....so it won't hurt for the station to stand by a couple of extra seconds
