So, if I look at my own RBN reports during a contest, am I assisted? (Not that I've ever done that!) 73, Scott K9MA -- Scott K9MA k9ma@sdellington.us _______________________________________________ C
That makes sense. Strictly speaking, I suppose truly unassisted should mean no access to the internet at all during the contest. Not even spaceweather.com. 73, Scott K9MA The CQ WW rules FAQ addresse
It's too bad these contests overlap, and that the exchanges are so similar. Not all those calling CQ specify which one they are in. There surely will be a lot of NIL penalties. 73, Scott K9MA -- Scot
Even if the sponsors don't require both stations to submit logs for a contact to count, it seems NIL penalties would be likely. For example, if you log a station in your RAC log, the other op logs it
I guess it would depend on whether their log checking software can count the contacts in the RAC log. Perhaps the easiest thing would be for the sponsors of both contests to simply ignore NIL's durin

When I tried to upload my UBA DX CW log to LOTW with TQSL, I got an error: Invalid Callsign (599). The problem was in CONTEST: UBA-DX-CW. Apparently, the dashes confused TQSL. Changing it to UBA_DX_C
This problem occurred because the UBA contest was not in the latest TQSL definitions. One can add it manually: https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-help/pref-cab/?lang=en <https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-help/pref-

I've only had the radio a week or so, but I'm disappointed in it in many respects. Now, I'm a CW contester, and I'm fussy, so many others will probably not mind what I see as shortcomings. On the oth
