I am under the impression that RAC has added some new sections that will become effective January 1, 2023, so doesn't effect this particular contest but will do so for several contests next year. ARR

Some ARRL contests (e,g., SS, 160M) use ARRL and RAC Sections. Thus, MDC, MAR, NL, and NT are each a single mult, but Ontario, California, Washington, New York, etc., each comprise multiple Sections.

Hi Dennis, Yes, effective Jan 1, 2023, the RAC has renamed, redefined and added some sections. This will affect any ARRL contest that uses sections, including having 85 mults in Sweepstakes. Here's a
