Dan They are Intersil 3.0 and its not a NDIS type system from what I understand. Think about it, the unit needs to bridge between two interfaces where NDIS is just a single interface. Sincerely, Tony
Norm Yes you can BUT like the RG-1000 they where not designed to handle them, so your luck will vary. Sincerely, Tony Morella Demarc Technology Group, A Wireless Solution Provider Office: 908-996-799
Hector The setup is not that hard. You need to add a IP address to each interface for example: 192.168.101.1/255.255.255.0 to Ethernet interface 1 192.168.192.1/255.255.255.0 to Wireless interface 2
We have aluminum NEMA4 enclosure for the boards already made and in stock. The back plate has mounts for the WCPE+, also if need we can add a second hole for a bulk head connector for the dual port b
Dan Yes mounting brackets are included. Also we use heat sinks on the card to help draw the heat away from the SCB this with the correct metal mounts and metal enclosure seem to be working very well.
Watched it, I don't think the point was made very well that this is NOT 802.11b protocol or wi-fi. Noticed Doug tried to make this point but the host keep going back to that, to bad there was only a

The SMC card is only 100mW so your this is what you are getting anyway, the 200mW label does is only that a label. Test on a signal level meter or SA for verification. Sincerely, Tony Morella Demarc
Dan Did you test on an SA or signal level meter? Also which 100mW radio was is you where testing agents? If could have had a relative delta of 3dBm but was the test radio really 100mW to start with?
Might be over kill but would do the trick, lots of customers use them indoor for this very reason plus you can secure them will a lock: http://www.demarctech.com/products/reliawave-ode/reliawave-rw-o

FYI we have 200mW as well as a new 300mW radio which we are taking pre-orders on as stock is very low. Once we get our large stocking order we will be adding it to our TurboCell product line :) http:
We are working on getting these complete for use with up to 18dBi antennas. Sincerely, Demarc Technology Group, A Wireless Solution Provider Office: 908-996-7995 Fax: 908-847-0202 http://www.demarcte
Dan Would not use these in an RG-1000! Many of the RF components on the 300mW card are more efficient then on the 200mW card so heat should be about the same at the 200mW cards as well as power. Sinc
The power of the cards are 720mA which is higher then the spec of the board RG and AP boards 350mA per radio, but with this said we have many customer running the 100mA and 200mW card on these units.
