I just setup a cpe running Karlnet v4.02 and a 100mw card, the user is able to access the internet and the speeds are great. However, there are two issue's, I can't ping/manage the unit from my home

Ah, that problem. Dan, I had a similar situation using the PRISM II 100mW card in my PtMP slot on the AP using v4.02 about month and a half ago. (opposite situation). The signal at the CPE was great,

The link seemed solid...however, sometimes the reported S/N ratio would drop below 0 and the link would just quit. I suppose the code in Karlnet looks for this situation and drops the link...even tho

Ok more testing, - 1 thing to mention is that in every case of this, the unit w/ the 100mw card is Karlnet v4.02 and the other unit (ap or cpe) is version 3.79 or 3.88 Put a 100mw card into AP runnin

I have seen this problem. If you use the Prism cards on both ends of the link, you get equally bad results, but at least you don't think anything is wrong. :)
