I would check your neighbors and ask them if they have a plasma TV....I experience that same kind of noise when my next door neighbors turn theirs on, which I can see from the window of the shack. __

Absolutely agree with David. Null is the way to go. A switchable attenuator is very handy as you get closer to the source. Remember that the null is broadside to the loop...max signal is off the ends
