- Not yet, knock on wood. I coat my connections with either vasoline (and then wipe it off) or an expensive anti-rust compound before mounting. Has worked for over a year, but I should check it again.

- Doc, You definitely want to avoid any direct contact between copper and aluminum. Otherwise, coating connections with with any of a variety of materials, including the anti-corrosion compound sold fo
