- I run an original IC-756 and have the FL-100 500 Hz filter. I can tell you that on contest weekends it is not tight enough. I would go for the 350 Hz at a minimum and maybe even the 250 Hz for RTTY.

- One thing that might cause the odd spacing is if MMTTY is set to transmit "WORD OUT" rather than "CHARACTER OUT". (This can also set it to "LINE OUT".) The wait may be till the word is in the buffer
