Don, W9CF told me that the SBDVP software is written to use only one DMA -- he suggested at the time that the 2 DMA's being used by the PCI cards in a DOS window were used one for recording and the o

I did not have this problem in the last WAE. I provided some QTCs wqhen I only had 2 or 3 un-QTCed QSOs. It is true, though, that if you still have 10 QTCs left in your quota with a given station, an

I expected that -- Tree reads this reflector, which is why I put this issue near the front. Argh, you're right. I did forget because it ran so well. OK, that's fine. That would work fine. It is the "

Sorry, this was incorrect -- the ISA card also uses 2 DMAs, according to Device Manager, but SBDVP only activates one of them. The PCI card remains a mystery. 73, Pete N4ZR The World HF Contest Stati

This was not the case for me. It worked beautifully with as few as one in the hopper. I never shut down during the contest that I recall, so can't comment on this. K2ONP's comment later turned out to

I sort of agree -- certainly if you have a problem with TR the first place to start hunting for the cause is to run under DOS and see if it recurs. That being said, I VERY frequently run TR under Win
