I also moved to another COM port, so I'm not sure if that solved the problem or it was something else. Eventually set the USB adaptor to COM3 if I remember correctly. Try setting it to another unused

Another minor glitch for the bug list: If you go to Recall button, but instead of dialing a memory and entering it, you hit Exit (just above the recall button), then it goes back to the normal screen

The radio had been running on Rx for a few hours, 20 and 80 meters. The 80m band was dead, mostly just local line noise. I am now getting the normal white spectrum, but now behind it the entire scan

Well, after a week or so of use, that's the first time I've seen that particular manifestation of the red screen. What I usually see is the white trace erasing completely, leaving just the red trace
