In the middle of transmitting today, my O2 went stone cold dead.  We had high winds that may have briefly shorted the antenna. DC power into radio is good.  Fuse good. There is a component labeled 5K

Nothing at all.  No lights, nothing.  It's as though 12vdc isn't even connected. Do you hear any sign of a relay click sound when you power up (near the back by the power input connector)? Gary

I've confirmed that 12vdc is making it past the molex connector and onto the pins of the circuit board.  I've removed the power protection diode from the circuit with no change. Master reset goes now

Thanks, Gary. Do you happen to have a parts location diagram? I can see a couple of diodes beneath the circuit board mounted SO-239s on the board, but I don't want to remove both of those connectors

Oh I wasnt criticizing you at all. I would have (and have done) the very same thing. Its just a shame a thing like a muffin fan doesnt have a built in lubrication nipple.

Thanks, Gary.  I did that.  No joy. First thing to do - remove the tube and safely suspend the plate connector so it cant touch anything, then apply power to see if the fuse still opens. Gary _______
