Joe, Glad you have the option to go with different versions, especially V1xx vs V2xx. Unfortunately, with OII we don't have an option. If we did I would definitely be running 1.372...... We just have

Joe, The Orion I had was excellant. Never had any HW problems and the way I usually used the radio it was pretty stable too! The OII works OK right now as long as you use it as a basic transceiver. (

Nope, no radio is fine (or perfect ) the way it is.....at least none I know of... However the Orion's are firmware based, and can be changed, and that's why we are testing, finding bugs and reporting

Buck, Here Here I totally agree! Make the NT like it was in 1.371. I actually helped me copy signals sometimes and it sure did quiet down the noise in general. After all it's called 'Noise reduction'

OK, I just went to the radio room, did a master reset on OII, Reset all the menu items, and tested the radio. With the mic gain at 100, SP 5 (or higher) NO ALC light ever even flickers. At that time
