Oh.. forgot to mention that on mine the LCD Reverse menu item is ineffective. No matter how high/low I make the contrast, the ON/OFF of this menu item does nothing. Fernando N2FQ/6 n2fq@sbcglobal.net

Not to monopolize the thread, here is what I found in my Jupiter. The voltage regulator supplies 5V to parallel resistors, then 4.5v to J12. When I put 5V directly to J12, the backlight brittens up a

Well.. the old display was easy to remove without removing the front panel. Four nuts and two cable assemblies. So far so good. Was able to remove the bezel by straightening the holding tabs. Wow.. t
