- I use 6 deep cycle batts charged from solar or can use wall charger. I feed a inverter to power supply so the shack always has 13.8 volts. Deep cycle batts hold up well and about $ 85.00. My ups for

- I need help, I have a Scout at week-end cabin and I want to wire a Kenwood MC-50 mic to it. The MC-50 has pin 2 and 3 for PPT and mic pins 1 and 4. The Scout has pin 3 PPT pin 2 Ground pin 4 4 volts
