I tried a Timewave 59+ with my Omni V.9 once two years ago and sold it a week after buying it. I hated it on SSB and found no real improvement using it on CW over the great stock filters. YMMV.......

Unless you are using the 705 on one of the pre Omni V rigs.... take the battery out. You don't need it as the voltage is provided from the 4 pin connector on the rig. Mike, W9WIS
