Has anyone replaced the hand crank on their foldover tower with an electric version? I have a new TX472MDP from US Tower and am thinking of replacing the stock "Foldover Raising" winch. Thanks, Joe K

Interesting that they say "tower climbing is risky and expensive". I don't know, other than the belt, climbing my tower doesn't cost anything. As for that motor, is anyone out here using one of these

Looking at the picture of the worm gear, I was wondering if there was any engineering reason why the pivot point could not be higher up the tower. It would make getting at the antenna a lot easier. A
