My opinion is that the mast from www.tmastco.com, also available from some kite shops for holding up windsocks and ornaments, is the strongest. He's also got a version that seems to be the same thing

Art, I would not go more than about 40 to 45 ft. with the fiberglass poles. Maybe use the aluminum equivalent if you go higher than that. The pole sections to which you refer are the 1080-01-179-6025

I use these poles as open wire supports to the back of my property. The pole that supported the open-wire side-feeder to the 120ft high delta loop was 25ft high. That mast kept breaking at the joints
