I want to thank all the guys that sent me email with possible solutions to my problem. My USB to CIV cable would not communication with Writelog. Everything was set correctly but just wasn't working.

Thank  you for your input Hector.  At least I am not the only one with the error. Yes clicking on the Error Alert box does clear it but sometime I get maybe 10 or more and it seems like I am closing

Zrinko, I am not sure of your problem, but several times over the years I have had the same problem.  CAT will work with other programs but not Writelog.  Here is a solution that MAY or MAY not work
