"Choppiness" in the cw output is probably to some degree a function of your cpu speed and RAM sufficiency. In a 48 hour contest, I can count on one hand the number of times I notice a choppy cw chara

Although Stew Perry contest sponsors have requested Cabrillo log file submission, evidently WriteLog won't generate them? Cabrillo file is grayed out on the Export and Contest menus. 73 & H2K2, Barry

Perhaps I wasn't paying attention before, but it seems that the choppy cw is, in fact, worse than ever. Saturday night during Stew Perry, I noticed stuttering/shortening of "dahs" about ten times. Th

Clive, the suggestion to max out the memory is a very good one. RAM prices are incredibly cheap right now. I think the P200 should provide adequate performance if you can get 128MB or more under Win9
