- Tom, You're not missing anything. At least on the 1000D, with the computer set up to key the rig, the internal keyer must be off. So you NEED an external keyer to use your paddles. 73 Ted KT1V

- sometimes Tom, That's the way it works (and why I asked if the INTERNAL keyer was on). What I've done here is used the computer AND an external keyer with paddles ... into a Y into the MP's rear key
