Hello to all, I am trying to set up saved messages using the function key memory bank for RTTY operation. After the message is sent the Rttyrite program will not receive anything until I hit the Esc.

Rich, Some control characters you might find useful for Rtty are: %R means, Carriage return. %D means, The station's call you have in the window will be sent. %E means, Return to receive mode. %H mea
Some have suggested a &R at the BEGINNING of a line to get your message out of the random noise created characters. It may slow down the transmission by a factor though.
Important messages such as the exchange or any message starting with the other station's callsign should begin with a %R so that the other person's decoder has time to sync and receive his callsign f
