Hello all. I've been trying this all evening and can't get it to go. I'm just trying to save an arbitrary message as msg2.wav, using Shift-F2 to create it and Escape to end. I get a file called msg2.

Got enough gain in the mic? Try recording something without using WriteLog; e.g., the Sound Recorder utility found in the Start menu (Accessories\MultiMedia). If you get no sound, then your microphon

speakers I doubt there will be. What mic are you using? If I record with my Heil Proset plugged into the soundcard, I get barely audible recordings, but if I use a cheap computer mic, it has plenty

Most of the sound card we use hear have a boost ( 20 db preamp ) you can select from the sound control panel and they work fine with the Heils Just another piece of info Ric KV1W the I preamp _______

Just to expand a little on Joe's question.... I always record my voice messages "on-the-fly", and would like to then store those recordings to specific contest files - that is, to have them available
