Bill, have you tried changing the COM port number? Maybe COM2 or COM3. I would think that the problem is in the Port Setup. If the cable is connected etc it should work. What version of Writelog are

Apparently there is a minor "bug" in the setup area that causes you to need to set the baud rate manually, at least for some radios. I set it for 4800 manually for my FT950, and now all works perfec
