That's correct - all the filters in the 2nd if are standard but not the 3rd if. I believe the only standard filter in the 3rd i.f. is a Murata ceramic filter for wide SSB. You might want to pull the

The analog FT-301 IMHO has one of the best mechanical tuning mechanisms ever stuffed into a rig. Receiver still holds its own. It's a great little rig and I've never seen any mods published for it. 7
