- The Astron RS-35s made before about 2001 did not have the negative post grounded to the chassis of the supply. This allowed RF to enter through the negative post and be fed right into the regulator.

- N4LQ came up with an "Old Indian Trick" for putting the dial skirt back onto the shaft. He made a loop of dental floss and hooked the loop over the end of the D-spring. The loop worked great to open
