Is there a way to adjust the receive offset on a PM3? I picked up a = Power Mite at a swapfest today (sans manual) and noticed that there is = not much in the way of offset. Any info greatly apprecia

You will probably find that the Doug DeMaw approach will make the tuning rather non-linear. Years ago a slip of the soldering iron destroyed C4, 200 pf, which is in parallel with the tuning capacitor

George, Your PM3 has what the OTs called tuneable hum. The cause and solution for this problem was well known in the 30's and even the 50's (see Don Mix's "Novice Special" in QST about 1955 or 56). I
