The 20 year old beam appears to have suddenly developed an infinite SWR. Replaced the coax below the rotor loop connection, so I am assuming the balun has toasted. Any recommendations for a replaceme

Last month I built a 40M vertical Dipole, resonant, full size and fed with a current balun. I hung it from my mid tower antenna support rope with the end support at 110'. Worked well and almost flat

Gedas The vertical dipole is about 60' horizontally from the tower so I would suspect little interaction. My ground here is very poor - Sandy gravel down to hard pan at 60' depth. My antenna rope run
