I just bought a Samsung LCD. I also have a ViewSonic LCD TV. Both are whisper quiet and immune to RFI/TVI from my KW station on all bands from 80m up. I don't operate 160m, so can't comment on that o

My LG front loaders are quiet. My new Samsung LCD TV is also quiet. It's also resistant to RFI from my KW. The first thing I did after I bought it was to check for TVI/RFI when running a KW on all ba

I have 112KV (or something like that) lines only about 200 ft from my antenna. They're right in the path to EU. They're dead quiet EXCEPT when it rains. The corona noise when it rains is really bad.

Can you be more specific? At what power level? With a dipole next to the shack? With a vertical? With a yagi at 100 feet? With no toroids on the power lines? Etc? ____________________________________
