Good Evening All: I found this group while searching for information on the Gi-7b Russian tubes. So, here is the question. Has anyone used the Gi-7b in an amplifier? I am in the process of building a

Thanks Tony. Great info. I guess if I can get 800 watts output on 6 meters I will be happy. Anything over that will be a bonus. I'm doing a running history of the project with my digital camera. I wi

Tom, please let me rephrase that. I assume from your previous answer that if the tank circuit is designed to match the load impedence, then linearity will improve. What, then, happens to efficiency?

Roy, I agree. This came up because I found a schematic for a pair of Gi-7b's and was kinda using it as a guide. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I looked up the formulas for calculating the values in a p
